Baby Bottles

Most plastic baby bottles are now (finally) made of BPA-free #5 plastic or glass, whereas just a few years ago most were made of polycarbonate plastic, which leaches BPA. Ignoring this trend and parents' calls for safer baby products, U.S. and E.U. authorities continue to maintain that the safe level of daily BPA exposure is more than 25 times the levels of BPA found in polycarbonate plastic baby bottles. Although the major mass market brands now produce BPA-free bottles in addition to their conventional baby bottles, the companies listed below produce only BPA-free baby bottles. The list is not comprehensive and will be updated periodically. In addition to buying them from the manufacturers, you can also find them at traditional and at online retailers such as Babyearth.com and www. amazon.com.
